Goldie was the light-hearted contestant with funny commentary every episode, Red Oyster was the rat of the group and would expose the ladies secrets to Flav, Hoopz was the feisty basketball player, Pumpkin was the mortal enemy of New York. New York the star of the season is to this day still considered the greatest villain in Reality TV history. Throughout the season New York would purposely get on the other girls’ nerves, fight with multiple contestants, and make it clear from Episode 1 that she was only there to win the heart of Flav. New York was truly the driving force of the show. New York would then go on to have her dating show I Love New York and other shows on VH1. With funny moments, high-stakes drama/rivalries, and a questionable winner, Flavor of Love is the perfect show to watch for those who love the trashy TV genre and an overall fun experience.
