This week East Coweta High School is hosting their annual rivalry game against Newnan High School. All week Indians participated in dress-up days to get ready to beat the Cougars!
Monday
Many had a full costume from relatives that were or are firefighters, and some teachers improvised and used what was on hand to create their outfit.
On monday students and staff dressed up as firefighters to “Extinguish the Cougars.”
Tuesday
Many students on Tuesday dressed up for Twin Day or “Rhyme without Reason.” Some students had matching tops or even bought shirts for this occasion! Many students planned the night before to match.
Wednesday
On Wednesday the theme was Adam Sandler. Many students were excited for this day because it meant that students could dress very comfortably. Usually ‘’Adam Sandler’’ means baggy clothes, big t-shirts, and funny hats. Many students participated in this funny and comfortable dress up day.
Thursday
On Thursday the theme was ‘’Super Hero Day’.” Many students dressed up as classic superheroes such as Batman, Thor, and even Captain America. Some students and staff made up their own superhero. Madame Poling and Madame Barber, two French teachers, came up with their own costumes. As we count down to one more day before the game, students and faculty are getting excited to watch the Indians in action!
It’s the day of the game and students are dressed up in the theme “Black Out” to rock the Shoe later tonight! Students and staff dressed in all black to support the ECHS football team as they go up against their rival Newnan High School. Students came to school in the 2024 rivalry shirts, black hats or even black face paint! Students are ecstatic for the upcoming rivalry game.
