This week the Smoke Signals Staff asked EC students two questions about our school newspaper: have they visited the site this week, and how can the staff increase interest in the site?
Sadly, nearly 40% of respondents hadn’t ever read Smoke Signals, and almost 8% hadn’t even heard of it.
The most common suggestions for boosting interest included:
- Sending the link to the student body via Remind or grade-level Google Classrooms
- Featuring more EC students in the paper
- Making the content more humorous
