In 2016, a slim majority of British citizens voted to remove their nation from the European Union. In 2020 “Brexit” became a reality. This move has restricted trade between the UK and the EU, which economists estimate has led to a 17% drop in exports. These experts foresee further drops. Though the British government has denied rumors of resuming some sort of relationship with the EU, public sentiment seems in favor of it.

Beast Games Lawsuit

The popular YouTuber named MrBeast has found himself the subject of a big lawsuit based on exploitation claims from contestants on his Beast Games show. The Amazon Prime show hosted by Beast has been compared to the fictional Squid Game and includes a $5 Million prize. Some contestants claim they were confined in tight spaces, underfed and overworked as they competed in challenge after challenge without breaks. Fans should definitely keep an eye on the outcome of this lawsuit.
