Students at ECHS have approached the midpoint of the Fall Semester and will be taking midterms this week on October 2-3.

After a short week last week due to Hurricane Helene, EC Indians came back to another shortened week due to midterm exams. Midterms started Wednesday, October 2 for 3rd and 4th Blocks and resumed this morning, October 3 for 1st and 2nd Block.

Each midterm students take will count for 20 percent of their grade. Some students will be assigned projects and others will have to take actual tests.

This Wednesday morning Sophomore Trent Caldwell and his friend went to Dunkin’ Donuts to study. They said they spent about two whole hours there, and their studying time paid off! Junior Maggie Arnett says “Because of the storm that came through it has been hard for me to get back on track with school. This week has been rough and I am not exactly sure about my midterms.”

Maggie also said that she studies with her friends often, because they can all help each other out.  We asked students how much time they spent studying for midterms this semester and most claimed to study for about 2-3 hours each day.

Good luck, Indians!
