French Club’s focus on December 10th of this week was on the importance of Notre Dame Cathedral’s monumental reopening last Sunday. This medieval cathedral with its famous gothic features has stood for centuries until much of its interior caught fire in April 2019.

Since it was the last meeting before Winter Break, the club served chocolate and shortcake rolls with some frosting and sprinkles so students could make “Christmas Logs.” They tasted great, despite the high sugar rush involved.

Students also used various types of folded paper to make stained glass windows in honor of Notre Dame.

The meeting was a nice, simple way to be together and celebrate the end of the semester.
