Even though most Fall sports are wrapping up their seasons here at ECHS, there are still a few opportunities to catch your fellow Indians on the field. Let’s talk about the big one: football!

Attending football games after school is a fun way for students to support their school, spend time with friends, and build school spirit. Whether you show up for 9th grade, JV, Varsity, the Cheer team or the band, football games bring students, families, teachers and the community together while creating memories that can last for years to come.

After a long week of classes and homework, football games give students something to look forward to. Students can dress up and sit in the stands of Garland Shoemake Stadium, cheer for the purple and gold, watch the band’s award-winning field show, and enjoy the excitement of the game. Games are filled with school colors, cheers, and energy that makes every game feel special.

For many students, football games are about more than just watching players compete. They are opportunities to make friends, strengthen friendships, and enjoy time together outside of the classroom. Students can take pictures, talk with classmates, and create memories they will remember long after the school year ends.

So what’s left this season?

Varsity football plays Carrollton this Friday, October 30 and finishes their regular season against Northgate on November 6.
